How it works
- Mother liquor or condensate
- Liquid to drain or recovery
- Vacuum line to pump
- The catch pot is connected between the process equipment and the vacuum source.
- Under vacuum, mother liquor or condensate is drawn into the vessel.
- Liquid collects in the pot while the vacuum line continues on to the pump.
- The collected liquid is drained through the bottom outlet for recovery or disposal.
