How it works
- Wet material on heated shelves
- Dry product
- Vapour to condenser
- Material is placed on trays that sit on heated shelves inside a sealed chamber.
- A vacuum pump lowers the pressure inside the chamber.
- Moisture or solvent evaporates at a lower temperature, taking heat from the shelves.
- Vapours pass to a condenser for recovery, and the dry product is removed at the end of the cycle.
